Disappointment

We were supposed to have the little boy on Saturday for another play date. However, on Friday he was out of school sick. I called his guardian and checked on him. He said to call on Saturday and we would see if he was feeling any better.

Saturday we called the phone number a total of six times throughout the day. We kept getting the same phone company recorded message saying the person we were calling did not answer and to try our call again later. So, we didn't get to spend time with him on Saturday. That really stinks because we won't get to see him outside of school again until next week. This week is just too packed.

This morning when I saw the little boy he said that the phone we were calling was lost and had to be replaced. I guess they got a new number, too.

Wednesday is our DFCS home visit. Prayers are requested.

Also, Michael has a job interview at the college he attends for a bookstore assistant on Tuesday at 4:30pm. It would be regular work as opposed to the on call positions he has now. We are looking for God's leading in this matter. The on call positions pay more, but this would be a regular check. Just pray for us to have the courage to follow God's leading.
